What are you sick of seeing or hearing about?

(personally, for me, it's about when the elections are coming up....that drives me nuts!)

Ok our Home town All Star team own the Little League World Series. Great for them . I don't want to hear about it anymore. Don't want to sound mean but this is probably as far as those boys are going to go. A friend said that he wouldn't be surprised if they all turn suicidal because they can't live up to what the community expects of them now. I know its not a funny joke but we will wait to see what happens to them. In the mean time ENOUGH ALREADY!!

I'm sick of hearing all the fuss about when Blair is going to resign!

I'm also sick of my parents having a go at me (around December) about when I will buy a new car!
They were the ones who taught me buy it myself so that I would appreciate it more

I'm sick of hearing my family ask when my husband and I are moving to the east coast and closer to them. I really want to move and be closer, but its a process. We're giving LA a go before we give up and move. I don't like the city, but that's no reason for hubby to give up on his dream of being in the movie industry so quickly.

I'm sick of all the rain! I have a leaky roof thanks to Hurricane Wilma, and I'm on a
waiting list to get my roof fix!

Overall - the whole Columbine thing. Yeah, it was sad and tragic, but it's been 7 1/2 years! Now one of the fathers of one of those killed is running for public office because a) his name is now famous because he won't shut up about his son the martyr and b) his platform is that all guns should be outlawed because his son was killed...with weapons that were already illegal or at least illegally obtained (he conveniently forgets that fact). You know, I know it's hard to lose a family member, but come on - move on with life! Some of these people will not ever get past April 20, 1999 in their lives. And what's even more sad is that two other families also lost their sons that day, but they will never be allowed to grieve publically for them because of their actions. How sad is that?

So yeah, I'm sick and tired of hearing about Columbine any time anything remotely newsworthy happens that can be connected to it.

Oh, where to start? Paris Hilton (congratulations, your life is meaningless, now please go away); Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey; bird flu, west nile virus, mad cow disease (could these be any more overly-hyped?); TomKat and their TomKitten (heck, any combination-named couple: Brangelina, Bennifer, Vaugnistan ... that entire name-blending trend is just old); Britney Spears and Kevin Federline (please stop spawning, please, for the love of monkeys, stop spawning); the Austrian girl who escaped from captivity after 8 years (it's not that I don't think her story is fascinating, but leave the poor girl alone already!), and, on the off-chance that my boyfriend reads this ... his ex-girlfriend (yes, I get that she was the devil ... no, I don't want to hear about her -- she's your ex for a reason).

Ummm ... I may just be overly irritable, however. And clearly in desperate need of a cultural fix, since all I apparently do is read celebrity gossip sites ...

Ummm...I'm sick of the Tide stick commercials with kelly ripka...whatever her last name is...I think she's just too perky and excited about it all for my taste....and I don't even have cable! Just Sunday afternoon at Mom's wore thoes commercials out for me!

I'm sick of having to watch the little and not so little kids in my neighborhood. (one hit my car that I've had less than 1 year and bought brand new-my very first brand new car, with a rock and put a dent and some nice scratches in it on the hood! I gave him a talking to! I'd have asked his mother to buy the touch-up paint, but fact is in this neighborhood....that would probably never happen!)

Ok, I'm just sick of my neighborhood. It's ok sometimes, but this is not the first time something has happend to my property. It's not like people are getting shot (that I know of, thank the Lord!) but still. DH wants to wait a few more years before we buy a house, which is probably a good idea...I'll just start bubble wrapping everything and put up security cameras!

I am SO sick of the Head On commercials where they repete it three times. I know that you are tring for brand recognition, but honestly, don't be so annoying about it.
