Introducing Smudge

This is our new little foster baby who I picked up this morning. Her name is Smudge, and the poor little baby has goopy eyes and looks a lot more straggly than our last foster kittens! That's what happens when you don't have a loving mama kitty Hopefully between us and Stumpy and Lily we can help little Smudge grow to be a strong, happy, healthy kitten!

Sarah, she is just beautiful! She coudln't have found a better home!!

Gald there is someone else is loving enough to take care of him. Cute kitty. Are those blue eyes i see?

We both work full time, and I'm also studying part time, so neither of us have a huge amount of time, but hopefully it's enough to help her!

I have no idea what colour her eyes are going to be - they're just "kitten blue" at the moment

Oh she is in good hands now ! What a sweety!

Lol, she looks more like a little drowned rat She'll be looking pretty by the time we're done though

she is adorable.. what a cutie.. and it's great that she is black, since black cats don't seem to get adopted as much..

I dare anyone to say no to that.... The only time she's stopped mewing is when she was in our hands. So I'm feeling like a big meanie sitting here at work while she's at home. I'm stressing about whether she's ok - whether she's fallen in her water and again and is at home shivering, or whether she's just knocked it all out and has none left, whether she's climbed the cage (which she seems to like doing) and gotten a paw stuck. I keep clock watching until I can go home. I'm so busy that my days fly by but today is DRAGGING!

Aw, I think she's really gotten her little paws wrapped around your heart already.

You couldn't not let this girl into your heart! DH is wondering if they'd notice if we gave them Lily back rather than Smudge

Yeah - she's about 5 weeks!! We had a good night so far though. We played, then she spent a good hour "helping" me study. I put her down my shirt, and she snuggled there for an hour purring away happily. She would look up into my eyes every now and again, and I swear she was smiling at me

She is just the cutest little baby! I wouldn't get a lick of studying done if I had her snuggling with me.
