How long before they bounce back?

Spike and Leo are at the vet now, being "snipped and chipped". My mom is picking them up around 6pm, but I won't be able to get home to see them until tomorrow afternoon, so I'll have the weekend with them.

Now, it's been about 9 or 10 years since we last had a male to neuter, so I don't remember how long it is before they are back to playing/eating/jumping like normal. Anyone have an idea?

Yep, tonight there will be some tentative placing of bottoms
then tomorrow, should be fairly normal.

If Mosi's anything to go by it will be about 5 seconds!

It's a very straight forward operation and most cats are back to their normal selves within 24 hours - usually quicker. They may be a little sleepier than normal tonight, but that's probably all. Or they might be like Mosi and act like nothing at all had happened except some nice people had given him lots of cuddles.

My boys were a little sleepy afterwards, but by the next day they acted like nothing had happened.

Yay! They better play with me on Saturday...I haven't seen them in 3 weeks! When do you think I can take them outside on their leashes by?

OK my mom talked to the vet, we can't take them outside for 5 days. But they're doing well, they yelled the whole way home, and now they're playing at home Thanks for the info, everyone!

Boys recover fast - by end of weekend they should be back to their normal selves
