My kitties are due for their yearly vet visit...they were last seen at their neuter/spay about a year ago, except for Henry going in to the emergency vet for an ulcer on her tongue. Should they be getting shots? Not sure what the typical schedule is. They are 17 months old, strictly indoor, and I am rarely exposed to any other animals. They should be seen about once a year for a routine checkup, right?

Yearly, yes.
I do not get shots repeated, but that is a decision between you and your veterinarian.

The yearly is (to me) mainly to keep a current baseline and history on them regarding their bloodwork, to run a fecal, for early detection of any developing problems, and to stay current with my vet so he'll be there when I need him.
