Two of mine have left, I'm keeping two, but two still need homes. They had one, but she backed out. I've posted on my universty's classifieds, on craigslist, on petfinder, and told nearly everyone I know.

This is very difficult. I know it's kitten season and I knew it would be hard, but does anyone have any other tips? I'm trying to avoid taking them to a no-kill shelter, the humane society, or putting an ad in the daily Indianapolis paper... but what option do I have? I can't keep them all. (Actually, I could... but my mom and husband will not let me).

Take a couple of pics of the kits and then take them to local Vets offices. You would be surprised at how many people go there and are looking to add another fur baby. That's how 2 of mine found thier new homes.

There is also a really good PDF called "how to find homes for homeless pets" that you can find here:

http://www.natewood.net/Rehome.html

It gives good information on how to place an ad. Just remember, if these kittens are not fixed...you need to follow up with the new owner to make sure it is done.
