Hello Im glad i have found this place it looks very helpful!

My cat is called gizmo she is a tortoishell (sp) cat, she is 8 years old.

I took her to the vet as she had diarrohea,he gave her some antibiotics and that seems ok now.

She seems to be drinking quite alot of water at the moment, and her litter box is quite wet.

I looked through the internet for answers and it said these symptoms could mean Chronic renal failure.

My question is when they talk about frequent urination, how frequent do they mean?

I last saw her urinate about an hour ago, i dont know before that as i have been at work.

Im sorry about the long post but i do worry about her...she is one of the most precious things in my life and i worry about her all the time

Excessive water drinking can also be diabetes but I think it can be a number of things. Maybe someone else can provide better info but I would think having a blood panel done would be a start.
