Maki's Diet

Hey,

Since his visit to the vet he has not really eaten anything.The vet gave me some Cytease capsules to give Maki and also gave me some special food called Urinary S/O made by Royal Canin. So i emptied a capsule into some Sheba which is like some meat in jelly.

He licked all the jelly and only a abit of meat, and now its dried up. So i thought i would give him a option, and put out some of the new vet food with a capsule in it but he hasnt touched that. Is it the capsules he doesnt like? Any suggestions on how to get him to eat food with the capsule or shoudl i try giving him a capsule direct?

I agree that the vet should be told that the cat will not eat this food.

I'd give him something else that you know he likes to eat.

The vet said to empty the capsule into the food or straight into his mouth. Looks like i have to do the mouth thing as he wont eat food with the capulse dust on it. THough i might try hiding it in tuna and see if he eats that! He is eating now i gave him some dry food. Looks like he likes that more
