Loki and Jacob love those little mice. some of the ones they have have feather tails and shakies in them! They love to play fetch with them and toss them up in the air and catch them!

Yup, ours love them as well. Our neighbour donated them to us as her cat doesn't like them, but ours go nuts over them! We remove the tails before they get to play with them, then find the eyes and ears throughout the house as time goes on

They could be if they're eaten. My girls pull the tails off the second they get their mice. But they never try to eat them! Has anyone ever tried letting them play with a rabbit's foot key chain?? Now THAT is something they go wild over.I hate buying them tho. Poor little bunnies....

most of them are not made of real rabbit fur.

My cats, Saki especially LOVES his toy mice. He plays fetch with them, he carries them around, he hides them, he puts them in my outgoing ebay boxes to mail..
he brings them to me in bed at night.. I dont know what he'd do without them!

I either remove the tails or cut about half of the tail off. 1/2 of a tail will pass right through them but if they are long tails they could get backed up in the intestines and cause a blockage.

Our mice are kept in a drawer that has a small ladder/step stool by it. Clio jumps up on the stool, sits down and stares at the drawer until we notice her. We open the drawer and she puts a paw in to snag a mouse out. How well trained are we?

I keep the ones that aren't out being played with in a ziplock baggie in my sock drawer. So far, they don't know where the supply is.
