I hope your treatment is successful, and you can come back soon. Take care, and remember, all these TCS vibes you are getting can be pretty strong. We are all pulling for you.

Let me add my voice and thoughts for you as well. I am no stranger to depression, and the fact that you care enough to seek help for yourself speaks volumes. Bless your husband for being so supportive.

You do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself,
and we'll be thinking of you and sending healing vibes your way to help lighten and ease your burdens.

Aw - I'm sorry to hear that things aren't improving - but it sounds like you're headed in a positive direction. Depression is so awful - it really DOES hurt everywhere. I'm so glad your hubby is supporting you. We'll be here awaiting your report when you get back - take care of yourself!

I'm sorry you are in such pain! I hope you are able to post when you are feeling better. You have been through so much in the past few months...it would be pretty overwhelming for many people. But when you add serious depression to it...I'm sure things have felt impossible for you lately. I pray that you are feeling better real soon, and able to get back with your wonderful husband and great kids and kitties!

I'm a psych nurse, and would be glad to talk via pm's if you think it might help...I'm no therapist, but I know a lot about psych meds, and I feel like we are friends from when you were posting here before.

Butterfly,
I am glad that you are going to get whatever help the dr suggests. And I am thankful that you have such a supportive husband. I lived with my in-laws for years, that is never easy. (it was H-E-double-hockey-stick for me) But we have always said "if we can make it through this, we can make it through anything!" And I feel the same for you. Good Luck! Keep us posted!

Here's what went down....

Saw the therapist...we talked over things, by then I was stabilized out again, discussed if they would bend the strings and allow me to get individualized or group therapy while hospitalized (cause that's what I need most) and the answer was still no.

So I'll see my therapist every other week after the 12th and she's going to be doing DBT therapy with me which I think stands for Dialectial Behavior Therapy, it sorta retrains how you think about things. And I have handouts to work on and all of that.

She and DH re-oriented that the getting better part is a two way go of it....I have to put in some effort if I truely want to overcome this finally.

Plus I think the Effexor is finally out of my system and the Wellbutrin has kicked in and that's helping too.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and what not.

DBT is the best treatment for personality disorders. I have personally seen people improve greatly, and I'm sure it will help you, too. It is quite a challenge, but so worth it. And way more effective that hospitalization for personality disorder.

I am very happy for you! I know you are still hurting, and might not believe that there is help for you, but I am certain that in time you will be able to look back and see true progress.
