** Introducing my new furkid - Phoenix!! **

She's gorgeous! Congrats on bringing Phoenix home!

Kass, she's beautiful!!! Hopefully the introductions will continue to go smoothly. Nakita's curiosity will get the better of her, I'm sure!

Thanks so much for all the comments! The name Phoenix really seems to suit her. We're doing a slow introduction. One meeting between the two of them a day - with a screen mesh divider between them. I'm having an absolute ball with her but I think Nakita is going to need some convincing.

This one is blurry because I was laughing. She just finished doing a huge gymnastic routine and settled into that position for one second when I clicked the picture.


Don't mind the plaster on the wall beside her. We didn't finish putting up the baseboards before her arrival.

Yeah, she's quite the acrobat. And her paws are huge so she always lands with a thump!!

Phoenix's current weight is 3.1 pounds at 3 months old and Nakita is only 5 pounds at 4 years old. I think this cat is going to smother Nakita.

What a beautiful miss! I like her eyeliner-it makes her eyes stand out.

Good luck with the introductions. I'm sure even if Phoenix grows up to be larger than Nakita, Nakita will keep her in line
