Hi, I new to this forum but I thought that I can Get some Help. Today i found a little kitten abandoned on the street. I will get him to the vet next week.

My problem is that I really don´t know what I´m doing. Its Saturday and almost everything is closed, I buy him some Purina kitten food that i dissolve in water, and mixed some milk with water, the kitten will only eat about 2 teaspoons of it (and i´m feeding with a seringe and teaspoons) and will alwyas sleeping 8 the food is warm). When he arrived he was crying out loud but now he meow when i talk with him or pet him and go back to sleep. I think he is about 3 weeks old,

Thanks for all you help

Should I wake him to try to feed or he will cry when gets hungry?

make sure it's cat milk or kitten formula not cows milk! dairy isn't good for cats. have a look at this thread and i think you will find what you need! let us know if you need anymore information after you read thru this...

Thank you for taking in a helpless kitten off the street. You are a great person in trying to help this poor little kitten. You definitley came to the right site for kitten care advice. Good luck!

thanks for the advice

I buy him kittenformula and a nursing kit, he is eating it but only about 5-6 ml at time. he bittes the bottle nipples more than sucks them. And i think he´s having a problem with the right hind leg since he barely puts it on the ground, but its not twisted. He didn´t pooh yet, i´m stimulating him as those sitte you recommend said but he only pees.

Hi,

I thought I just update in my kitten. He went to the vet on Monday, and the vet said he was about 3 weeks older ( he will be 4 next saturday
), had 340g weight, and everything seems ok with him, next visit will be on 18th to deworm. He eats a lot now but only royal canin kitten formula(vets advice), he doesn´t even consider eating dry food mashed with it( he only licks it).

My only concern now is a very round belly and he didn´t pooh today yet. He did it yesterday and before. Can he stay a day without ? I´m trying the moist cotton and the moist towell but nothing!

He´s very curious and playfull and loves to stay on my lap to play
