Another crazy cat lady

Hi all! I found this site and hope to become an active member. I'm owned by 5 kitties (one sphynx, hence, baldkitty). I also have 5 fosters at the moment so I'm up to my eyeballs in kitties, poop and fur.

Welcome, Michelle!! wow, 10 kitties What a true cat lover! I noticed that you are in the desert - no wonder you feel compelled to work so hard to save that many cats. I was in Lancaster,CA during the heat wave, and life is soooo HORRIBLE for those poor creatures left to fend for themselves - I can't help but think that winter is sometimes more merciful (maybe not by much, but the heat and lack of water is soo brutal). Dear fellow crazy cat lady/dez dweller:

Hey! THANK YOU for loving cats and fostering -- you're doing great work, but then, you know that already! We are also in the dez, and "we" is currently myself, my soon-to-be-ex-husband, nine rescued, indoor-only, spayed/neutered and SPOILED cats, four hens, and a multitude of Mojave wildlife who either live on "our" land or visit. "My" cats are, of course, going with me when I am forced to relocate due to divorce; 12 other rescues who have lived (in most cases) all their lives with me have had to go to sanctuary in Canada due to the divorce/relocation/stupid municipal quotas where we'll be going. But they are in loving care. All of "my" cats, who range in age from 16+ down to 2 years, have FUR.
