Aw, thank you! I feel much better today, after having been horribly sick Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I actually left the house today! Lebron James used to be at my old school quite often, always see his Hummer parked in the parking lot at my dorm (which was right next to the basketball arena). From what I've heard he's a nice guy.

Purdue won in overtime.

They beat Miami U of Ohio. Unless Purdue pulls their heads out of their rears, we won't be bowl bound this year.

Btw, I still don't understand how grabbing someone by the collar of their jersey is a facemask....*shakes head*

Well, at least it's not televised so it won't be too humiliating! In local news, our Colorado teams, CU and CSU are playing each other. Hard to pick from those two for me - I guess I go with CSU - they have a good veterinary school, LOL.

Your Wyoming beat Utah State last week 38-7, right? Well this week Arkansas beat Utah State (thank goodness) but only 20-0. It's so embarassing for us. Nobody I've talked to even knew that Wyoming had a 1-A football team until last weekend! (No offense!)

Arkansas is playing Vanderbilt in Nashville. We have the line, but there'a chance we won't win.

We are having some coaching issues, i.e. our coach sucks. For example, one of our players granfather passed away this week. In an interview yesterday, Coach Nutt said "I couldn't talk the family into moving the funeral a day either way!" How that for class.

Wow, that's horrible! What a jerk!

I feel bad for the player, my prayers are with him and his family.

We have some coaching problems too. Last year Larry Coker fired 4 assistant coaches, but he forgot to fire himself!

The canes fan don't like him, and we were upset when the University gave him a five year extension.

I'm kind of hoping we lose 2 more games this year, just so they can fire him!

Updating you on a couple of games
Michigan is beating Notre Dame 40-21 in the 4th quarter. ND is overrated!

Auburn beat LSU 7-3, it was a good defensive game. LSU almost won the game at the end.

Arkansas won today against Vanderbilt. Our saving grace was a Vandy field goal that, while right on, was about 2 feet short.

Miami has the week off. The week was crazy with nothing but talks about Larry Coker. (the coach) The fans don't want him as the head coach, but Paul Dee (the A.D.) already said that he's going to make a decision at the end of the season.

That extension is really killing him now, if he fires Coker the University has to pay him $8 million dollars! The good news is we have a cupcake schedule for the next four weeks.
