I remember Red Rocks too - saw the Kinks there, with Cheap Trick as the opening act...oh...a while ago

I had to brag a bit. (My phone has a browser.) But MANNNN it was really, really cold. And wet. I was so wet I didn't know it was still raining.

I've seen them a couple times, Kim, they put on a killer show! Wow, sure wish I'd been there with you, rain or not!

I grew up on th Allman Brothers. I am from Augusta, Georgia, and they used to come play at my favorite bar, The Whipping Post, once in awhile, when they were doing a bigger show there. We saw the 30th Anniversary tour show in Sandstone Amphitheater in Lawrence, Kansas.
My daughter's middle name, Elizabeth, is from one of my fave AB songs, In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed.
