Kitchen problem

Both of my cats always jump onto the kitchen table which i find very annoying, even if they are fed and with food in their bowl. Everytime when i walk out and i see them on the kitchen table, they quickly jump off and give me this gulity look and run away

they do not seem to be scared of water, and annoyed of tin foil and often tip over my plates and stuff, is there anyway to stop them doing this even though i am not watching them??

I am not quite sure... hopefully someone will have some advice for you. I too am interested as I have seen Stanley jump up on the counter a couple of times!
