a couple questions

ok I have a couple questions, first of all, how can I teach my kitten not to get into the kitchen? yes this can be done because I have a friend who's cat will not get near the kitchen but yet the cat is VERY loyal to his owner, I want to instill the loyalty and friendship into my kitten without intilling fear.

Second question, my friend has a cat that loves to be around people and it likes to climb on people and rub its head on people's faces...what is that cat trying to do?

Well my cats have full reign of the house so i can't answer the first question. Have you not asked your friend how she/he did it?.

What your cat is doing when it rubs it's head against something or someone like that is it's leaving it's scent on them, basically saying " Your mine!!!" .

I would recommend that you speak to your friend about how they did it! I know that a lot of people on here let their cats go wherever they fancy - I do!
