How much should one kitten eat?

I want my cat as healthy as possible. I wanna know how much I should be feeding him a day and as well how much should I let him eat. I just put some food out and leave the bowl in the open for his access whenever he's hungry.

Especially a kitten. I would also suggest feeding a quality wet food a couple times a day. Make sure the first ingredients in both dry and wet foods is meat not a by product or filler. I would start with a tablespoon with the kitten and see if s/he gobbles it up and is looking for more. Kittens actually eat more than adult cats because they are growing.

You can ask your vet for more specific guidelines, but I would feed the wet food several times a day and leave dry out all the time and your baby will get enough.
