I phone in my payment to the cable company every month, it's usually around 30 or 40 dollars, so I put it on my debit card. I called them this morning and listened to their automated system. It said my balance was $5000.00. Laughing and hit zero to talk to a customer service rep. When I had confirmed my identity, the rep gave a little gasp, and asked if she could call me back. Well, apparently the entire side of our building is billing into my apartment, and they don't know how to fix it. UGGGG.... I just hope my cable doesn't get shut off.

Sweety you're just not having the best of luck lately are ya?

It is a good thing that you don't have automatic payment though. Can you imagine going to go check your banking account and seeing it in the red?!
Good thing you called.

Exactly why I pay in cash or by check
....My gym screwed up my bank account not once, but twice!,....it was not pretty.
...So I usually pay with cash and I pay a few days early each month.

Oh no, this is just a normal state of being for me. I'm so used to this it amazes even me.

As for the balance, I'm not that worried about it. I just want to watch Real Time with Bill Maher and Project Runway with out having to worry about the cable being cut in the middle of the show.

Okay all this just got very serious, Food Network is doing a show on the international pie baking contest that I have to watch for ideas. I'm calling the cable company tomorrow and making them sort this out. If I don't get to watch my baking contest someone is going to get hurt!

I think I need to move closer to you if you're about to start baking pies!

I do everything except pumpkin, I had a bad run in with a pumpkin pie as a kid, and refuse to make them.

Ah, I absolutely love Project Runway! It's the only show I watch every single week (that and ER during the new episodes
). I didn't even have DVR until this month, and a lot of times don't get home from work until 10:30pm...ahhh! I love Tim Gunn.

Did you see it yesterday? I don't want to ruin it, but oh my gosh...I would love to be where they are*, and I am upset they sent hom who they did**, but not surprised.

(I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it, so stop reading now!)

*Paris! It is so pretty, and I am so excited about the challenges now!
**Angela!
I absolutely love her. I know she's not the greatest, and I know she makes weird stuff sometimes, but for some reason I really like her. And she's from Ohio...oh well. I like Kayne, and Michael. And Vincent sometimes. So I guess it's okay. I lived when they sent hom Bradley (though I didn't think I would).

Wow, I'm moving into your building.... I have my cable automatically deducted cause I save a dollar every month so I hope I don't pay for the whole trailer park one month!
Hope it gets worked out in time for your baking contest!

I just called... the balance is down to $2500.00. They've figured out the spread sheet had some issues last month, and it "dumped" into my apartment. It's going to take a few days for the balance to go away, but I should be fine.

I will do my best to make everyone pie this fall. I just have to go get a new rolling pin. My old one isn't working to great anymore.

Zoiks! I thought our $80 a month was bad! Sounds like they're sorting it out.
What you need is a friend who knows how to tweak the cable in your building so you get it for free. Not that I'd ever do that of course, ahem, I just ahh know someone who did this.
