Question For Booda Clean Step Box Owners

Thread Starter
I have two babies, Blu and Twinkie. Blu is 5 yrs old and Twinkie is around 5 months. They share a large litter box with a front opening. I have noticed that Twinkie has been harrasing Blu while she is using the box. As soon as he hears her digging in the litter, he makes a run for it and climbs on top so that he can reach inside and swat her tail, etc.

This sometimes causes her to come out of the box too quickly and leave little "surprises" on the floor outside the box. I know that this is probably stressful for her and thought about buying one of the Booda Clean Step boxes because Twinkie might not be able to get to her as easily from outside the box.

Does it sound like it might work? Can this box be lifted by the handle with the litter in it, so that I can take it to another room to be scooped?

Thanks for your help!!

I think it would work for the purpse of keeping one kitty's paws out while the other is doing her business. The stairway is long enough that she probably won't be able to reach. But the top and bottom do not actually latch with anything, so if you pick up the top with the handle, the bottom stays on the ground.
