Dear Humbug, my SO's parents cat passed away today. He was 18 years old. He lived a long and happy life and was and is loved so much by all of his family.
He was a lovely cat. He had become ill and frail over the last year, but he hung in there, but he was taken to the vets this morning with breathing difficulties.
We all knew it was coming but it's still so sad.
Rest in peace Humbug, enjoy your time at Rainbow Bridge, you are now fit and well again, playing in the meadows and warming yourself in the sunshine.

Love always, Jess and the Mawbys and all the others whos lives and hearts you touched.

Condolences to the entire family on the sad loss of Humbug. Yes, he had a good, long run and you all should be proud that you gave him such a good life; but for those of you left behind, 18 years of memories do fill up a heart, but leave such a huge empty spot at the same time. Godspeed over RB, Humbug - you are now young & strong again, and never forgotten and ALWAYS LOVED!! I hope that you all find comfort soon, and some other lucky kitty will be given the chance to belong to such a wonderful family!
Susan
