and welcome! I just joined a few days ago, so actually I'm new here; so glad to meet you and Bazil (great name...!) and want to thank you for choosing to go for veterinarian in your career path. The world needs more caring vets!
I'm out in the Mojave Desert in California with my soon-to-be-ex-husband, 9 rescued indoor-only, spayed/neutered felines ranging from 16+-year-young Nicolas T. Cat to 2-year-old Suha the Terrible!, four hens, and an amazing amount of desert wildlife including rabbits, rats, mice, snakes, lizards, birds, kangaroo rats, insects, and (well outside the fence), coyotes...My folks' Maine Coon was a handsome blue-cream boy, and I miss him terribly. He passed on awhile back. "My" cats, all rescued, are all "domestics" or moggies as you would say...I never met a cat I didn't love, or think of as beautiful!
