Piglet and Eeyore-and the nine kittens!

How have i missed these little pumpkins?! Aren't they just so precious!!

Thanks for the smile and chuckle this morning. That is about the cutest little family I have ever seen. It seems that my heart may be missing, though, your little ginger kitty has stolen it!

I was just taken over by a wave of nostalgia. About 20 years ago we had a mom and her 2 daughters give birth within days of each other. They formed a commune of their 15 kittens. One pic I remember is that all are asleep except one - and it's smack dab in the middle of the pile.

Thanks for all the kind comments! They really are just too sweet! I'll try to post more pics this weekend, since the tiny ones eyes are beginning to open!

I let all the older kittens out to play, leaving the tiny ones to nap....

Notice with all the shifting for a "prime" spot, Gopher (black kitten) ended up on the other side of the kitten pile!

It was so exciting for I to get out of the cage, that he explored....the cage from the outside!

I was trying to show a little pudgy area on T's lower belly, but she covered it with her tail!

She is growing fine, and very active. But I'm not sure what the soft area is. When she goes for her first vet check at 6 weeks, I'll have them check it out.

Piglet is a little more comfortable in my prescence. But I don't see too much of Eeyore.

Ooh I missed the second round of the Pooh family.. I'm in love with I.. But T is also cute.. forget it, I love them all! I wonder if that black baby will end up a dark tabby? Do you know if both litters have the same father?

There were only two males in the home, Tiger (deep brown tabby) and Tigger (brown tabby with white under his chin). So each kitty has Tiger or Tigger as their father, including Piglet and Eeyore! Tiger escaped the home before we began working to spay and neuter, so he is presumed dead. Tigger is neutered. The rest of the adults are all spayed, except one female. She was kept away from Tigger for a full month after his neuter.

Piglet and Eeyore will be spayed when the time comes, as will all the babies. Almost all the older kittens are done, and two have already been adopted together into a loving home. Progress comes slowly, but it does happen!

The black kitten (Gopher) looks BLACK! And Eeyore had two black kittens with her last litter, so I think he will stay black. The others are starting to look different, though, with more gray or more black in the stripes.

Great work on helping with those poor kitties.
