Poor Lily has her Soft Claws on now… so canâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t use her claws funnily enough! When she jumps up onto things, she uses her claws to pull herself up rather than trying to actually jump up. Which is why we got the soft claws… This morning she tried a couple of times to jump on the bed, and got most of the way, and obviously tried to dig her claws in and couldnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t and slid off the bed! When she hit the ground, she mewed and ran under the bed! Poor baby… She was on the bed during the night though, so can still get up (the bed isnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t very high), and Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve seen her jump up onto the bed and higher things without using her claws, so she can definitely do it! Her little mew was so pathetic though…

Hopefully this will teach her to jump properly!

Awww your poor kitty! I am sure she will learn fast enough. Maybe her little mew was to say "I meant to do that!!" I know when my Stanley does something like that he walks off with his head held high as if to say that!

That sound like Phantom!!!
She Still makes as much use of her claws as she can! She still hold on the the cat tree with them but can't hold on as well as she does without soft claws!!

I can just imagine "these pointy things don't work anymore!"

When my cat got her softclaws, they stayed on for a few weeks and then she managed to remove some herself!!! Scratching at furniture, etc, and they popped off!

I am going to get her some more before the holidays, because we have family coming into town and she tends to be fiesty around people she doesn't know/trust.

My favorite thing about those softclaws-- she likes to curl up in my hair and knead her paws into my face and neck when I'm lying in bed-- with the softclaws, she could show affection and it didn't hurt one bit!

They're supposed to come off every few weeks when your cat sheds their top claw layer. In fact I found one in the bed with me this morning when I woke up from Anya. Didn't have time this morning so I'll have to pop a new one on her when I get home tonight.

I'm thinking of ordering her some pink ones so she can be all girly.

When I got home she jumped up onto the bed next to me in one leap, with no clawing or falling!

I remember those days where climbing was the way to get up. I was so glad when Lucy out-grew it.

My Lily did the whole "walk like me feet weigh a ton" thing when I first put soft claws on everytime. It took her several weeks to realize she couldn't scratch her way up things anymore...needless to say, she had a sore bum for awhile.
