Last night I was watching TV at about 10:30 and the kits were playing. I remember watching Molly dart in and out from under the couch and kind of "flipping" around now that I think about it. After a while I heard a stressed meow and went looking for the kits and couldn't find Molly. Finally, I found her half under the couch with a tie from a blanket wrapped around her neck several times. I about freaked out and ran to the kitchen for the scissors because it was wrapped so tight. I cut the tie off and she was fine, but I just couldn't stop thinking of "what if" I wasn't up watching tv and this happened during the night. Molly would have been gone. It made me quite sad. I checked around my house for other things that might hurt my kitties and thankfully haven't found anything. I cut that tie completely out of the blanket (it was one of those sleeping bag type of blankets for kids that has a tie on one end). I am just so thankful that I found her like that and that it happened while I was up. It just wasn't her time to cross the bridge.

Things like that can happen so quickly.

We always have to double check where the cats are before putting down the footrest on the Lazyboy. I remember a classmate's cat was killed by her dad using the Lazyboy when the cat had climbed inside.

Oh Gosh thank God you saw her like that!! Severino's groomer locked her cat in a Lazy -boy chair for a week and the cat never cried at all and finally it just hit her where she might be and she was fine! Scary

IA. If you need me, just meow..
YIKES! I'm glad you were there to help her. That's scary. I'm glad she's ok though. Poor thing just got a fright and needs extra cuddles for a week or two!

Oh, I tried to give her tons of cuddles, but she saw the other kits playing and left me in the dust.
