Getting a stool sample....

I guess this thread goes here!! So how do I get a stool sample from Phenom before the vets? I don't want to have to lock her in a room with her box the night before we go. I will feel bad doing that. And i won't be able to watch her every potty either. Is there another way I can be sure its Phenom's sample and not Phantoms??

Brandi, this is going to sound gross (although I suppose you asked for it starting a thread about poop ) but I know the difference between Sleeves and Nismo's poop.
It was a lot easier when Nismo was a baby. Isn't Phantom's a lot smaller than Phenom's? When is the vet visit? If I were you I would take note of who's is who's just now so that when the time comes you have a better idea if you have the right one or not?
I feel for you though it's not going to be particularly easy. Maybe Phenom will be a good girl and go right infront of you...

Unless you stay at home and can watch the box like a hawk I think you might have to put her in a room. I had to do that with Hope recently and I felt horrible! Just to make sure you get the sample you want them in a room for 24 hours before, this way you know you will get it. But on the bright side, leaving them in a room for 24 hours won't be near as bad as the doctor getting a scraping themselves right there at the vet!
