This little sweety boy has been hanging around. (He looks exactly like my boy Hobbs!). We fed him and now today he was just sitting under our car in the driveway. He ia friendly as anything, purrs his heart out, but I fear has a belly of worms, and he was having trouble breathing in the stifling hot NC air. I set up a huge kennel for him with food water, litter box and his own little fan to keep him cool. He finally got used to it, and is sleeping, which this poor thing needed. I will take him to the vet on Monday, to get him checked, take care of his worm problem. But I have 2 cats and 4 dogs...I cannot keep another pet. I saw some advice to contact local shelters or vets, but Im not optimistic. They are always full it seems. Does anybody out there know anybody around the Charlotte/Concord North Carolina area, that might want to adopt this little cute boy? He is about 4-5 months old, and very friendly. Here are 2 pics of him. Thanks!!!!!

Awwww, he's a sweety. I'm nowhere near you but hopefully someone closer will come along with some advice on finding a place for him.

I'm not far away, but am in the process of moving and can't take on another kitty right now. I'll check back with you in a few weeks after our move, maybe then????

Thanks! I left e mails for several non-euthenasia shelters in the area that might help me adopt this baby out to somebody. Ill update soon.

he IS a real cutie & does indeed look like Hobbs
Bless you for being willing to take him to the vet! BTW, have you check the lost-pet ads yet? He seems young enough to have gone exploring too far - at least he had the excellent survival sense to find your home

This "he" turned out to be a "she"! (Dont ask, Ive had cats all my life, but this is the first one I missed). Anyway I took this little sweetie, who I named "Angel" to the vet, and $375 later she is in perfect health, got all of her shots, tested for aids/lieukemia, and clean, and of course spayed.

Pls, does anybody want this sweety??????? She is sooooooooooo friendly and would make a great pet. She just needs a loving home, and someone to spoil her. Please let me know.......................

What a wonderful thing you did for this girl....I would contact local rescue groups and ask if they would let you bring her to their events to try to find her a home. Also..ask local vets if you could show her at their location or if they know anyone who is looking for a sweet cat.

I will ask around, maybe someone near us can take her in. You might contact www.wcnc.com, that Tailwagger segment they do on tv gets a lot of attention.

If you still have her after the end of September I will get in touch with you. We might can take her then. No promises though.

Thanks everybody for the advice and good words.
Ill be bringing her to a "show" event this weekend, and someone else may take her also. I am determined to find this sweet little thing a good home. Already she will be tough to let go.
