Well, I just mixed up Jerry's gruel that he has to drink later. They say it's best to drink it cold, so it has about 6 hours to get cold.............all I can say to this, if/when it's ever my turn..............HELP YOU GUYS!!!!

How is he doing so far today??? I know the prep is not plesant, but it will be over soon
. Poor thing. Hopefully he can drink a good bit of fluids to keep him hydrated. Keep us posted. Once he finishes the prep, the worst part will be over- tomorrow shouldn't be bad at all for him...he should be out for the procedure...and afterwards he can eat whatever he wants

Well, he had breakfast and lunch, but had to stop all foods at noon. He's alseep right now on the sofa. I will wake him at 3 to start his drinking of the prep stuff. I'll make sure he drinks enough to be hydrated. I just hope this doesn't make him sick to his stomach.

I hate to say it, but it most likely will make him sick to his stomach....those laxatives completely "clean out" your colon...and all that goes along with it...So it's quite unplesant. However, he may not have it too bad.
I would just make sure to stock up the bathroom with plenty of toilet paper, magazines, some Tucks pads and maybe some of those Cottonell wipes to help prevent him from getting any hemroids.
-oh yeah, don't forget the air freshner
I hope he feel better soon! He's lucky to have you looking after him

I just wanted to add, that my dad was really hungry, and if he hadnt stayed in hospital over night, he wouldnt have made it, because he would have eaten anything you would have given him!
