Morning all!

Hoorah, it's Friday!
Today, I plan to finish off all my washing, cleaning and decluttering! Oh the joys!

Then I'll be ready for the lovely Bank Holiday three day weekend!

Does anyone have anything exciting planned for the weekend?

Have a great Friday and don't work too hard!

I have two of my teenage grandsons staying and the only reason I can get on my computer now is because being teenagers they are not awake yet

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
Good morning!

I am happy today because Mark is coming home

We are going to have a nice meal tonight and chill out and then tomorrow night we are going back to stay at his parents as one of our friends is playing in his band, not far from there so that should be a good night!
Then on Sunday we are going to the race track to do some drifting!

It helps that the sun is beaming for the first time this week

Have a great day everyone

Sounds like a fun weekend, Lauren!
I hope the sun stays out for you!
(you'll have to change your location though, mind you!
)

That's great Lauren!!, I bet you are so excited to see Mark

Tonight Jeff and I are going to pick up Sydney!!:
(that's the name the shelter gave her and were going to keep it)

Were going to have to go out and get all the new things a kitten needs. It's been so long since I've taken care of a kitten!!...Reilly was 2 years old when I got him.

So I'm off to the kitten forum to do some research!

Lots of exciting stuff happening for you Tracy! New kitten, and your wedding in 8 days (right? )
Can't wait to see Syndey!

Just another day.... finally feeling better, I ate my first 'real' solid meal last night - it was so nice!
I was getting really sick of saltines and 7up for 3 days

Tonight John is working a few extra hours, and I might be heading to the new shop to help clean up - oh joy, let the fun begin!
If not, I'll be sitting my butt at home getting some rest and relaxation with the kitties, nothing better than that!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!

Yay! Sydney is coming home!!
I know you are super excited!

Kenz I ma glad you are feeling better! Real food is good!!

Well I didn't sleep so good last night. The comforter my mom has on the guest bed weighs 200 pounds and I felt smushed under it. THe dogs barked at everything, the pillows were uncomfortable, the bed was too small and squeaky, and i just couldn't sleep! Finally I threw the covers all on Lee who began to giggle wildly (I have never heard the man giggle that much) because the weight of the covers hanging off hte beg was pulling him off the bed! So I got about 4-5 hours of sleep last night. Ugh!

Can I just say
? I am so tired ... I really need a break, especially from work.

We realized last night that there isn't a single weekend between now and the end of September where we aren't busy. This weekend it's Ribfest (lots of carnivorous fun!), next weekend we go to the Stratford Festival to see "Twelfth Night," the weekend after that my boyfriend and I go see Lewis Black (he does the "Back on Black" segments on "The Daily Show") at Casino Rama, then the next weekend is a party on my boyfriend's side of the family and the weekend after that there's a party on my side of the family, and the weekend after that we're busy but I can't remember what we're doing ...

I believe I'd like to sleep through October. I'm gonna need it!

Thanks Brandi!

I've been a little 'out of the loop' for the past few days - but can I ask why you & Lee were sleeping in the guest bed?

I need to finish unpacking this weekend, work on getting everything organized & cleaned, do general work on the house & get ready for our garage sale!

But I'm sure I will spend too much time doing this ->

Woo hoo today is Friday and I am so excited. Work has been really slow so almost everday they ask if some of us want to go home. I usually say no cause I need the money but today I think I am going to go home early assuming they offer it. I need to go get my car registered pick it up from the shop get a new tire on it do an oil change change a headlight and do a minor tune up.
I'm not excited to do it but I will be excited to have my car back after 2 years of not driving it.

Then I am going to go home and put together my new entertainment center.
Then I am going to relax on the couch with my dogs and watch a movie. (and my cats to if they want to)

Hello everyone!!

I'm having Karen withdrawls and she's only been gone 5 hours!!

Eric and I are planning a date night either tonight or tomorrow to go to the movies and out to dinner!!! No kids!!!
It's always nice to get away and it's cheaper too!

We had a bit of rain last night-maybe more later today. Went shopping yester with sil at new tjmaxx/homegoods. Got a bud vase, a cool lantern for outside and 2 pairs of shoes that I didn't need but wanted!!!!
Today I took the truck in for service as the check engine light was on-needed to sensors but Ford had extended the warranty on them so no charge!!! But had the injectors cleaned or something like that-killed some time talking with one of my old mgrs who works at dealership. Then more shopping (cat food/ltter/groceries) Aunt Flo is coming so I stocked up on chocolate!!!
Had my fav sandwich for lunch....BLTS!!!
Going to rent a couple of movies not much else going on as I have a headache.

Tracy,
How much getting a kitten-if you haven't had one for a while-its more work than you think!! Is that your wedding present to each other??

Ahh, Friday. While my work isnt so stressful, it'll be really nice to have Cory to myself all day for a couple of days! We'll even get to sleep in (if the kitty lets us
) Tomorrow night we're going to a play called We Gotta Bingo, which my sister's husband is managing. It's an interactive comedy with dinner provided. I'm so excited, I love plays. Sunday should be nice and quiet. Maybe we'll go try that Chinese buffet down on W 7th...
