in a pile of open toed shoes!
I read that, it's on my home page of AOL. What do you expect when you live in mountain lion country? They are all just curious cats right? Sooner or later they're going to explore! Granted, if I had sleeping children at home, I'd be worried....but if no one was in there then no harm done. I guess you just don't sleep with your windows all the way open.....

Yeah I would be A LOT worried if I had kids in the house. I would also be A LOT worried if I had my dogs or cats in the house.

I would be freaking out. I saw it on the news yesterday and I was thinking about what I would do if that happened to me. I think I would start beating the mountian lion if it was hurting my babies, but then It would probably come after me and I would die.

I'm really glad they just let the cat run off. It's so sad - there are so many people who move into moutain area homes, and then freak out when they see mountain lions or bears (or anything besides deer and squirrels
) doing what mountain lions and bears do. I would have to say, though - that would be so cool to see one up close like that, though not fun at all to have to clean up after the incident!

Slightly OT, I know, but the title of this thread keeps making me picture a mountain lion and his girlfriend living together, much to the disapproval of their feline parents. Makes me smile every time.

I saw the cat on TV....
He was beautiful.
It is so sad that these amazing cats are losing their territory.
