Welcome to TCS!

I love all cats, never met one that I didn't! So I guess himalayans would be a YES for me

Hi I am also new to this site ! I love himmies too ! I have a 9 and a half month old blue point boy named Butters he is the most affectionate cat I have ever met ! We also have a blue cream dilute tortie  persian mix female who was a rescue we got her extremely young she was only 5 to 6 weeks old when we adopted her . They are both sweet hearts but Butters is by far the more lovable one I have owned dogs and other cats in the past and he is unlike any other animal I have ever owned ! His behavior is more human like when he was 9 weeks old we got to bring him home he was very much still a baby his little cry even sounded like a infants . Our persian mix Whiskers matured way way faster then this guy . He is almost 10 months and he is still a kitten he still cry's for attention his cry has turned into mom it literally sounds like he is saying MOM but with a northern accent or something like Mam ! He doesn't meow he just cry's out mom lol ! Whiskers trills and meows she is normal lol ! I also noticed he made very good eye contact he would literally stare into my eyes for very long periods of time which freaked me out a bit at first because whiskers never did that she would blow me kitten kisses by blinking at me but never made complete eye contact with me for long periods . I thought something was wrong with him I thought he was going to be a aggressive animal since in the wild this is a threat but I have come to realize now that he was just super domesticated , because of this whiskers and him did not speak the same kitty language but after she taught him things were fine :)
Butters loves to cuddle he mostly sleeps on his side or his back like a human you can just pick him up and flop him on the side of you with your arm around him and he will stay there for hours or until you fall asleep . Whiskers likes her belly rubbed but she isn't a lap cat you have to force her to lay with you . Butters does not mind being bathed he doesn't even cry whiskers on the other hand will shout her one human word she knows and that is NOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo lol ! Whiskers is more playful but she has trained Butters on how to pay hide and seek . Whiskers is also very well behaved and cleaner then her adopted brother . Butters gets into things when he wants your attention and he isn't to swift when it comes to the litter box its taken him forever to realize that the walls are not where the smell is coming from and there is no need to wipe them down with your paws he regularly will kick a terd out of the box" like get that stinky thing out of here" haha . He definaitly is not the brains in this operation ! I love both my cats so much but Butters personality is not cat like what so ever he doesn't hunt he isn't the least bit interested in chasing bugs he is just so different from any other cat I have ever been around it has me wondering are most himalayans and pure bred persians like this are they all this easy going and affectionate if so they are the best animals in the world !
