I'm sure Reilly will act up at first, they all do, but he'll come round to his new brother or sister in no time. He will probably appreciate the company when he's home alone.
We aren't too sure when we'd bring the kitten home. We have already been approved for the adoption...little did we know that the woman that we stood there and talked to for almost an hour is in charge of the adoption screening and she threw in there a few questions without us knowing (Is Reilly declawed...will he ever be...questions like that)

She also said that we could bring him/her home and then she will take it to her house for a week after the wedding.

We'll have to decide for sure, but Reilly has been displaying some very destructive behaviour while we are at work or asleep. We've tried all the conventional methods and our vet suggested that Reilly could be lonely.

Oh I'm so excited!!, I plan on going back in there this afternoon after my interview to see if the kittens are awake

Tracy i think your vet is right, because i've mentioned this many times in peoples thread. When i just had Rosie i played with her as much as i could, but she used to claw at my leather sofa, claw on the wallpaper etc...But when i got Sophie it all stopped and Sophies never clawed at anything, so i always put Rosies behaviour down to being bored and lonely.

Reilly is going to have a new sister!!

Her name is Sydney, and she is a beautiful dilute orange, white and gray.

Jeff and I are going to pick her up tomorrow night
I will be sure to post lots of pictures!

No Vacancy...One on the way!
Mikey was acting up in the early AM and chewing on wires alot so I would get up and grab him. He wanted something to do, even if it ment driving me insane. We figured he was lonely and super bored.
We got the kitten and now mikey seems more active and less sassy. Although he does get me up at 630am for breakfest which I dont mind so much. He even has the kitten in there pouncing on my bed.

A companion is a great idea for some cats. I look at it like this: would i wanna be the only of my specie living in a house?

I wasnt to into getting another cat unless it was a kitten and it looked like mikey (which riley looks like mikey just mikes a skinny minnie and has some white markings) and I knew i couldnt win my boyfriend over. I always get compliments on how handsome mikey is and i love how he looked, something about the breed and the colors.

anywho good luck with your new sydney and I hope her and riley get along great!
