I went from living in a 1 bedroom apartment to a big house on 5 acres and we have a TON of trees!!!!!

It makes me happy Trees are the perfect lawn ornament!

Living on the 12th floor makes for a lack of a yard as well as trees.

3- Oak trees
3- Dogwood trees
1- Magnolia tree

We have 1 but it might actually belong to our neighbors. We just moved into an end of group townhouse and cut down 2 ugly trees that we climbing up the side of the house. I want to plant a dogwood in our front yard.

There's a couple here and there between the concrete and our building...

We don't really have much of what I would call a "yard" at our apartment.

We back onto a park so we have lots of trees
post #13 of 25
there are 2 pine trees in my backyard
Does that include the ones "dying" of dutch elm disease??
Can't forget the seedlings!!! How about those black walnut trees in my flower beds???
We have over 5 acres so lots of trees-esp on 2 acres of it!!
I only have two baby Lilac trees in my backyard, and one Maple tree in the front but it's on City property, so really that one is not ours.

3 large palm trees, 2 small palm trees and 2 plumeria. The plumeria are beautiful when in bloom but messy.

Oh Jean, I'm jealous!!

I used to have 3, but thanks to Hurricane Wilma I have zero!
Right in the yard 10+ & since we live in the midst of 180 forested acres too many to even think of counting
post #20 of 25
not only do I have zero trees, I have zero yard.
I live in a city apartment building. We have ivy and bushes but no trees.
Lots - we have about 1.5 acres. One did drop a limb on my van and dented it!
I'm jealous of Jean's plumeria, too!

We have four at the moment. In the front there are two maples. In the back there's a dying apple tree and a totally overgrown pear tree. (It's so overgrown that only the squirrels can reach the pears...which they eat part of and drop the rest in the yard where it attracts every fly and bee in a 5-mile radius.) We plan to remove the two fruit trees and plant a magnolia instead.

ONE tree and its dead!
Technically I have 0, but my neighbor has a tree just over the boarder, so we get lots of shade and leaves from it!
