To have 5 kittens at one time. 4 are 4 months old and 1 is 3 months. If they are all awake and see me sit down, they all rush and want to stay on my lap. I have to bend backwards so some can go up my chest.
I love holding them but I was wondering if I'll become a "dominance" issue if I do not give them each the same attention, like when cats fight for the top perch on a cat condo/tree.

I have had the same issue! Two boys, ten pounds each, one small lap, the fur has flown. We solved this by getting a kitty bed that warms with their body heat. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2002+113876
I have the green and sage because it matches my couch.

Edit: the best part is you can throw this in the wash with your towels!

Thanks! But does it mean they won't like staying my lap anymore?

No, it just means you can pacify the others while the other is on your lap. It is a poor substation for the real thing. My boys still try curl up in my lap all the time.

I would get a pillow and let the cats curl up on your lap that way. I do that with Gizmo (she's only one cat, but about as large as five kittens.)
