I can't find any goldfish flakes in this rinky-dink town of mine
,but I can find tropical flakes. Would it be possible to give this to goldfish, without any ill side effects, until I can get to the next town this weekend??

Short term not a problem.. but remember your Goldies are veggies not carnivores as most tropicals are

I'm sure it will be ok for a temp thing - not long term. Stock up on a can or two of the goldfish food when you can

they also enjoy a slice of orange, peel and all just cut a slice and drop it in and they will eat it in no time.

Oh wow! I didn't know that! I'm always giving them little pieces of bread for variety, but I'll have to try the orange! Thank you!

And GoldenKitty....I usually have enough on hand, except my daughter decided the kitties all had to have a bite after they saw her feeding the fish! LOL
