I have the best foster kitten ever!!!!
I'm currently fostering 3 little foster kittens now- (they have a story on TCS ) And while the two little black ones : Kenzie & Keiko are too ill to have a bath at the moment, Lex...a little 3wk old ragdoll mix just got his first one! I have Never had a cat behave this well! I filled the sink up with his warm sudsy water and put him in there...and he started swimming! It was adorable...Then as i was lathering him up, he started giving me kisses! What a sweetie pie!
I'm sooo excited that he's doing well with baths this young, because he is a long-haired kitty and will need frequent grooming as he gets older. He was awesome! I towled him off and then turned the blow dryer on low ( i have one of the most quiet hair dryers...so on the low setting, you can bairly even hear it
)....he was awesome!!! What a good boy!!! I'm sooo proud of him! I know i'm gushing- but hey, you couldn't ask for a better kitty/bath experience. He was even good after i brushed & combed him out. He was soooo dirty when i began fostering him and too ill at the time to bathe...so he got baby wipe baths for a while...and now that he is better...i gave him his first bath with the vets blessing
. What a good boy! I'll take some "after" pictures to post of him tomorrow!

I know! I'm sooo proud of him! My other babies need their bath too- but they are way too ill to even risk chilling them
. I almost cry everytime i look at little Kenzie's face and think about what those awful boys did to her---it's aweful...she looks like a little burn victim on one side. It makes me soo sad
At least now that i've had her, she is actually looking and feeling better
My poor babies! Keiko is doing really well now
...he's definitely going to be a lap cat
I just feed those two and now I have them running around in their kitty play pen right now, trying to introduce them to the litter pan. Lex is about to have his dinner.
