Comic books, vintage Harlequin romance books and my stepdad completely floored me when he said there were vintage Playboys in there as well.

I don't even want to know where he got them

Honestly, depending on how "vintage" they are and what kind of condition they are in, the Playboys may be worth some money.
There are a lot of collectors of those, and, well, they do have good articles and interviews.

He's saying 1950s and 60s, so if they're in good shape, decent enough money.
I've heard the early 50s ones had no full nudity, more artfully done.

What type of comic books?? I have most of the comic book my sis and I bought when we were young!! Mainly Archie, Richie Rich, Wendy-types like that. I even have some #1!! Also Mad Magazines and Cracked Magazines from the early 70's. I couldn't bear to part with them so most are in a box in the attic except for the #1-#10 which I keep in craft room.

I have no idea to be honest.
This is mostly stuff that my stepdad has been quietly hording for years

Although I do know that some stuff came from estate sales and whatnot.

I've personally never seen any of the stuff, I just get to sell it
