Gracie made it easy

I left work early today to take Gracie to our vet for a check up. Got home and got out one of the cat carriers, which sent Katie and Peter dashing for cover. I opened the door and left the carrier in the dining room thinking I'd track Gracie down when it got a closer to her appointment. She's usually pretty good about going in the carrier, but it does involve pulling her out from under the bed. When it was time to get ready to leave I walked through the dining room and there was my little tuxedo girl already sitting calmly in the carrier. She looked up at me and meowed, like she was saying, "Let's go mom. I'm ready!" So, I closed carrier and off we went. She made it so easy! She did great at the vet and got a clean bill of health. I'm so proud of my Little Gracie Bug!

Sounds like Gracie has accepted that it's inevitable that she'll have to go, so might as well not fight it. Good girl Gracie!

Thanks guys! Gracie's good, brave girl, but Peter's a big chicken. He didn't have to go anywhere today and we've been home for several hours, but he's still in hiding. My poor little guy.

Awww...what a good girl Gracie is!!

That used to work with Tailer and Forest. I'd get the carrier out between vet visits and let them play in it. Then, when it was time to go to the vet, I'd just get the carrier out and sit it in the middle of the floor. They'd go right in it and start playing. It doesn't work anymore...they're onto me now...I think Harvey tipped them off.

That's sooo sweet! My little Abilene does that too Then she cries the whole way there lol
