Anyone else having a slow Monday?

I can't tell you how freaking bored I am today! I have been sitting in my office doing not a gosh darn thing! I am going stir crazy and am bored out of my mind!
I am an engineering contractor, so I do a lot of work from home and today I had a long list of things and a couple of people told me they wanted to get together to discuss stuff - so I came into the office. We'll I havent' heard from either one of them all damn day and I am ready to ..... .....ooops sorry.....
Anyways - I think I've gone through every darn post and every forum I can think of on the net to pass time. Ticks me off sitting here all day with nothin to do and nobody cares!
Just wonderin how everyone elses Monday is going. Please share so I don't fall asleep here....

Oh I'm having one of those days too!

Its really slow around the shop today.... word is getting around that we are closing in a few weeks, so of course, naturally no one is going to want to come to a body shop thats going to close. Its really frusterating

My boss is at the dentist right now, so I have the office to myself til about 3... the time will go by really slow too. I'm really caught up on my paperwork, so I really don't have much to do either. I'm trying to spread enuf work out to the full day.... but its hard!

I just want to go back home and see John & the kitties!

Another slow Monday here! I'm in one of those prep days in the lab - tomorrow will be really busy, but prep work only takes 20 minutes or so, so I don't have a whole lot else to do today. So I'm sitting here, reading papers, and trying to stay awake!

I have some work to do but I figure I can save some for tomrrow. I am also trying to learn our computer programs online version a little before the instructor comes in to teach us. I think I have the hang of it for the most part. Other than that I am pretty bored too.

You want to hear something really pathetic though? Do you know what I do when I'm having a slow day like this? I take a piece of graph paper and I draw a box around the little squares on the paper so that each little square = 1 minute of the day. Then as each minute passes - I color in the little square. Pathetic isn't it?? Thing is - I get so excited if I get side tracked for like 10 minutes - then I can come back and color in 10 squares!!!!
I'm currently down to 86 squares left for the day

I'm with ya girl! The day is going by way too slow. I'm so ready to go home. Only 2 more hours.

Btw...I love your siggy. I wish I could do something like that with my 4 kitties. I'm just not that creative! LOL

I have had a slow day so far....but i can't complaine, it's been a good day . I filled out quite a few online applications today for different jobs. Tomorrow i will put some more in, in person with my resume. Other than that, i've just been taking care of the foster kittens, cleaning house, and spending time with my little furbabies

The morning wasn't bad. Our project manager came back from a wek long vacation in Mexico so I spent the WHOLE morning filling him in on what happened while he was gone.

Now everyone is at lunch and I'm back to surfing TCS. Might have to wonder around and do some online shopping too.

BTW- That graphing paper idea is fabulous. lol

There are tons of people here that do siggys. Believe me - I didn't do this myself! I have 0 for creativity. Cagnes/Christine did mine. She actually made me two and I love them both! I think maybe if you do a search for siggys maybe you'll find some posts about it. The mods may even be able to direct you to some of those posts. They all do wonderful work. In fact I love mine so much I haven't changed it in a while (I probably should though )

Yesterday was very boring for me too. I work at Subway and it so soooo dead last night. In 2 hours we sold $17. By the third hour we had sold $53 because someone came in and spent $30. If anyone goes to Subway...you'd know that its not cheap and $53 is not hard to spend, thats like 7 subs.

Not only did I have a slow Monday...I'm also having a slow Tuesday.....

DITTO!!!!
I finally gave up yesterday and left at 3. Got tired of waiting around, not only charged them my time in the office, but charged them the 1.5 hours travel time too cause I could have stayed home yesterday.
Now today - the same - so - leaving at 3:00 and they are getting charged travel time again!
Gas is too expensive for me to be wasting it on unnecessary trips.

I'm ready to pull my hair out from boredom!
