My cat has been on this food - very EXPENSIVE, comes in small bags, and can only get at the Vet....etc....etc....

Is there a substitute I can buy? I really don't care that much about the price, but my vet is far from me and it sure would be easier to get it at Pet Supplies Plus.

Any suggestions please????

Has anyone had a Feline C/D food substitute? Anyone? OR if not - is there anywhere I can purchase it without making the drive to my vet???

Your cat is on C/D prescription food which can only be purchased at the vet's office. Two of my cats were prescribed that by the vet for urinary problems. They would not eat it, so he put them on W/D made by the same folks. To my knowledge there is nothing you can buy anywhere else to substitute. I buy the large 20 lb. bag and store it in a bucket with an air tight lid. I keep it inside so it doesn't get too hot and mold. You might consider buying in bulk when you go to the vet and store it like I do. Good luck.

TALK with YOU VET .... Rx foods are like Rx pills for humans... There are OTC things but you need the parameters your cats foods need... Ie % of protein fat magnesium ash phosphorus
