The deadline for submissions for the 2006 Fundraiser Cookbook is: September 30, 2006! Please submit your favorite recipes in the Fundraiser Forum!
This is our way of being able to give a little back to the cat welfare community, as 100% of the money raised will go directly to a cat shelter. This year, we have decided to help The Humane Society of Southern Mississippi, in the area devestated by Hurricane Katrina last year.
We will find out how we can designate our donations to either the Low Cost Spay/Neuter Fund or the Chicken Soup Fund, which raises fund to cover veterinary costs of ill or injured incoming animals.
Also, we will need volunteers to proofread, re-type, and coalate recipes into Word documents that can be easily put together into PDF formats. We may also need someone who is proficient in Photoshop (or the like) to collect the submitted photos and make them a uniform size and dpi, and any other special way of making them show nicely for the cookbook (i.e. borders, style, etc.). In addition, we will also need Cover Art for the cookbook.
