Okay, here's a strange one.

Everynight when I take a shower and get out and put on my robe, my cat Maui always has to first rub up against my calves, then he sniffs my calves, then proceeds to very gently bite. You really can't even tell it's a bite, just opens up his mouth and gentle puts his teeth on them, then rubs against them some more.... What the heck?

Anyone else's cat do this and if so, any reason why?

thanx in advance.

Not sure - but I think he's just marking you because you smell all clean and not like him anymore.

i dont think its marking, I think he is using some of the scent sensors inside his mouth to take you in. Abi will play bite me just before snuggling in, that's what I call when she just opens her mouth and puts the teeth on my skin. she never clamps down.

Here's a silly question, but what soap do you use?

Spaz reacts the very same way, but only when I've used certain soaps.

What type of soap do I use?

You're not fully clean until your ZEST fully clean....

I'd be willing to guess that your cat enjoys Zest.

My girl likes Lever2000 and Irish Spring, she appears to prefer Irish Spring

As for the Honeysuckly soap, yes, I could see a cat enjoying that, dunno what figleaf would smell like though.
