Still haven't seen her but the neighbors down the street did and they tried to catch her but she ran away
he said she looks really well and said that he could tell that she has been eating...I'm thankful for that

I'll keep you posted

I hope your furbaby comes home soon and safely
. Please try going to your local shelter and renting a humane trap....bait it with tuna and check it frequently. I bet you'll get your girl back

We called our local shelter the day after she went missing and gave them our phone # and home addy..The guy is spoke to was a jerk..The county fair was here and the time she went missing and he said "Well maybe she snuck out
to go the the fair" I was so upset that i asked to speak to the manager,I told her what he said and that i didn't appreciate it at all and she said she was sorry for what he said and that they would take care of the situation.
ppl like that really tick me off

Awww sweetie, that's aweful! He was way out of line when he made that comment. But you did the right thing by asking to speak to the manager.I'm glad that she appologized for you. Hopefully she gave him a bit of a talking to and let him know that you were a concerned owner with a missing animal and that his comment was not appropriate. I would however call back and ask to speak directly to the manager...I'm sure after what happened she'd have a willing listening ear
...I would explaine to her that your kitty escaped out of your house and that your sincerly concerned about getting it back home. I would tell her that your friends found her outside of their house so you know where she is, but that she is too skiddish to come to them and runs away. I would kindly ask her to borrow or rent a trap to catch her with and tell her you will bring it back. I'm sure that she will be willing to help you
. Please don't let one rude employee prevent you from trying to get a trap for your baby
. I'm sure the manager will help you. I'm sending you lots of vibes! I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I hope your furbaby comes home soon
.

First, I hope Patches comes home to you soon. She is probably a very confused little kitty after all that has happened to her. That is why she runs from your son when he tries to catch her.

Yes, you should try to get traps from the local rescue group. A couple of years ago I got traps from one of the local no-kill shelters when there were several ferals living in my yard- but that is another long story. The most reliable method I found for baiting the traps was to line the bottom of the trap with newspaper and drizzle juice from the cannned cat food from the front of the trap to the back. Put the can of food at the very back of the trap. The cats were attracted by the smell of the juice and followed the trail into the trap. Worked every time even with the ones who had refused to go into the traps before I figured out this method.

Good luck and I hope we hear soon that Patches is home.

Do you have Patches micro chiped?
I did all my cats and dogs and it only cost $15 for the chip per animal at the local animal shelter.
