I recenly noticed that Annie won't sit on the side that she was spayed (which was a while ago) - she will shuffle her leg out from under her and sit with it sticking out to the side.

Disco (RB) and Molly never did this! I was wondering if possibly had something to do with the fact that she'd had a litter? (neither Disco - that I'm aware of - or Molly had)

Does anyone else's cat do this or does anyone have any ideas as to why she would do this?

We're back to the vets on Tuesday for her second vacc and I will ask then too, but just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas here too!

There are no lumps of swelling, no! Plus, she was spayed on 21st May so everything should be nicely healed and her fur has now grown back!

I've given her a good prodding, poking and squeeze and she doesn't mind one bit - not a single sign of discomfort!

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
You know when i think about it, my two mainly curl up on their left side, but i think that's the side they get spayed?.

If she's showing no signs of discomfort i wouldn't worry but if your going to the vet theres no harm in mentioning it.

Actually, thinking about it, you're right! Her spay is on her left hand side and it's her right leg that she sticks out! Hmmm

I automatically assumed that it was her spay side but it's not! Now that's even more confusing!

Yes, I think it might be worth a mention!

Well, back from the vets and I spoke to him about Annie! He said that it's more than likely just habbit from when she was spayed, so there's nothing to worry about!

He felt her stomach and everything and said that there are no lumps or anything, so we'll just have to accept that Annie likes to sit funny!
