Are newbies banned from the IMO forum?

Not a big deal, but I wanted to add my 2 cents to the JonBenet thread. I got this when I hit post reply:

"2dogmom, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Obivously I am logged in since it knows my handle. Do I need to be in a different group to post there?

You need to be here a certain amount tof time and have so many posts. A mod will be by shortly and be able to tell you exactly how many and how long!

You do have to be here a certain amount of time, and have a certain amount of posts, before you can post in the IMO forum. I'm sorry, I can't remember exactly what the rules are, but I think you have to have at least 100 posts, could be more, but I thinks it's 100/

You have to be here for 30 days and have 100 posts. The rules can be found in the sticky at the top of the IMO forum.
