The chickens chase the cats!!!!!

It's so funny to watch Cierron trying to stalk one of the chickens. They're so big, and as soon as they spot him they skwak and flap and chase him away!! Then he sits there, up a tree or on the fence, and pretends he's so dignified...

Back when I kept chickens, I had fancy bantams, all different breeds, and one huge mixed breed hen.
That hen used to pester the cats no end, she was trying to mother them to death.

Yes, farm chickens are pretty tough. In the farm I've seen mommy cats putting "chickens as monster birds" in their kitten school curriculum. They purposely stroll near the birds with their kittens and when one of the little ones gets curious and then chased away they seem to tell the others "see! now you know!"
