What my family did for Sam's Club was put me as the "spouse cardholder" and my dad as the primary... So that could be an option for you if someone else in your family isn't already considered the spouse (it's obvious that I'm not my father's wife, haha, and they didn't question it).... it's a great thing cuz I have a sam's up at school and I save a good amount of money going there instead of pet stores or food stores.... (Both my parents also belong to BJs, so my mom has the spouse card there, haha, so she's not mad about the Sam's thing)....

I use Cat Attract. In my book the best litter around. My cats love it too. I tested it against World's Best which I used for a long time, but they prefered the Cat Attract, so that's what we use now.

My best friend and I both use Litter Purrfect from Costco, which I like because it isn't scented and isn't dusty. (scoopable) It's also very reasonable...30 pounds for about $6.50. I've never seen it for sale anywhere else. They stopped carrying it for a brief while a couple years ago because another company gave them a promotional deal, but received so many complaints that they switched back. When they discontinued it I wrote a complaint and left it in the comments box at Costco. A few months later a rep from Litter Purrfect called and thanked me. I wish I'd have kept the guys name and number. Maybe I could have had the stuff delivered out here by the truck load.

Catsan.

It really absorbs the pee and and smells well. Do you have that in the US?

I've neither seen nor heard of it, Jessy, but I don't really pay too much attention since I've purchased the same brand for many years. I'm surprised too that no one else has mentioned Litter Purrfect. I guess I assumed there are Costco stores everywhere, which probably isn't the case. As long as they use the box, I'm happy.

I like Fresh Step but since it tracks badly, and I can't stand the constant cleaning, I have switched to Feline Pine. It has a wonderful smell and is great at odor control. My cat uses it, I don't think she has a problem with it.
I'm hoping it stays that way. If she does hate it after a while, I'd probably go back to Fresh Step.
::sighs:: But tracking is a nightmare, and I even have a Booda cleanstep box (it does NOT eliminate mess) and my cat still got litter everywhere. (I have a trackmat too.)
So far, Feline Pine is a lifesaver...no more daily vacuuming.

I took a look at the Feline Pine and wondered ..... "how in the world ........ does the "poops" get covered up?" I just can't imagine how cats are supposed to do their business in this type of litter.

I have had good success with the Fresh Step Cedar, clumps very very well, but it does have a lot of dust. I decided to give the ARm and Hammer a try, but the cats don't like it. It is so light, like sawdust, maybe that is why, but it does clump very good.

I picked "other" because I use "Jonny Cat Scoop". It has a nice floral scent and my cats seem to like it. Plus it clumps so it's easy to scoop out and keep the box clean between complete washing and litter changes, which is about 2 weeks.

This is an old thread, but I think it's still relevant. I also really like Litter Purrfect from Costco. I think it's $8.99 for a 35 lb. jug. It says it's lemongrass scented, but it just has a very faint nice lemony fragrance.

The Humane Society game me a couple boxes of Fresh Step Extreme for my foster kittens, and it was horrible. The scent was unpleasant and so strong it made me nauseated. And it made the kittens sneeze.

When my foster kittens were first learning to use the litter box, they would try to eat Jonny Cat non-clumping, as well as any clumping litters, so I started them with Blue Buffalo pellet litter, and they never tried to eat it. After they got used to using litter, then I transitioned to the Jonny Cat non-clumping again, then to clumping.
