Wierd experiance last night

I went out to a movie with some friends and got home at around 10:00 I locked my car and walked toward the door of my apartment building when I noticed somthing on fire on the ground in the parking lot. It was just behind a parked car and really flameing. I ran back to my car and grabed my half empty bottle of water and doused the flame. I stomped on it a couple times to put out any remaining ashes (it is forestfire season) It was finally out and I found out it was a notebook with hand written pages. I didn't read anything in it it was too damaged but it kind of disturbed me.
I don't know why.
What does everyone else think?

Maybe a teenage girl and her boyfriend broke up and the journal is filled with memories of their relationship. Some sad song came on the radio and it upset her so much that she set the notebook on fire and tossed it out into the park lot...
