Yesterday evening about 5 hours after giving birth to her 6th kitten she passed a placenta and by morning was much more relaxed and content.
She has been out of the nesting box a few times today, eating, drinking water, using her litterbox and stretching her legs.
She is enjoying the canned kitten food I bought for her and the kittens are nursing well and looking great. Mom has lots of milk.
I'm glad a possible emergency vet visit was avoided.

Edit: I wanted to add that yesterday evening after she passed the placenta
she looked totally exhausted. You could see it in her face and eyes. This evening she looked much more rested, albeit a little stiff when she got up. I suppose it will take time for the stiffness and soreness from giving birth to 6 babies will go away. It has been some time since I had my last baby to recall what giving birth feels like afterwards.

I'm glad it all went well. If you truly enjoy caring for a mom cat and kittens, once this mom has been spayed and her kittens placed, you may want to contact a local rescue/shelter and offer to foster a mom cat or a pregnant cat. That way, you are helping to save lives and can enjoy caring for the cat/kittens, but it will be the responsibility of the rescue group/shelter to take care of the medical needs (such as spaying) and placement.
