So since my landlord won't get back to me I decided that I'm going to use a couple of sheets & curtin rod to make a closet "door" for my bedroom closet, but I need opinons. I know I want to go with a light color because it's a very small room, but my dad said something about a solid color possibly making the room look smaller. What does everyone think. I was thinking a solid color, but now I'm wondering?

I think if the curtian is the same color as your walls, it will make the room look larger. I'd do beads though if it was me.

I went with a couple nice light material shower curtains I got at a liquidation store for $5.00 each they are a light breezy fabric and durrable enough that they can go in the washer for the cat fur cleaning

Ohhhh... good call. I was going to suggest a beaded curtin too. I would look for a nice shower curtin at Target. They have a great selection of cloth ones that look nice too.

Is a shower curtain going to be wide enough???
How obvious do you want this to be??? How is the rest of the room decorated??
I would stay with a solid color -close enough to match the walls so it blends in!!

I agree with a solid colour that matches the wall if you don't want it to be noticable.
If you want the curtain to stand out, like a decorative accent, then use a contrasting colour or a pattern.

I would get a pretty "throw" and tack or nail or staple it up there.
That's what I have for my closet in the living room. They have throws or blankets with cool prints, or animals, etc. We've got a wolf one up that goes GREAT with the room. I went to the craft store, and got some fake vines and put them around the top of the "door" and it gives it a great accent.
But say you went with a solid color, then I'd get some fake flower vines..
