when my aunts came down to visit us, we had a blast!
I would say that was the best part and volunteering at the shelter is still the best part of it!
of course I will be volunteering in the fall, too.
and the winter.
Going home to visit my family all the weekends that I did, and going boating, skiing, kneeboarding and wakeboarding.... nothing is better than that!
After 5 yrs. finally have a well-established butterfly/hummingbird garden & milkweed fields for Monarchs- Raised Monarch Butterflies from eggs to butterfly-watched the metamorphis occur -was one of the most beautiful things I have seen or done-am waiting right now for more chrysalis to emerge as butterflies & caterpillars to form into the chrysalis-Nature at her best-Had to post signs on porch/outside furniture stating this was a Monarch nursery-butterflies in progress-LEAVE THINGS ALONE
I just went camping it was fun but I wish I got to camp for longer

I haven't done anything really fun this summer. Mostly work work and then more work. I started a new job in January, so I haven't really had a chance to slow down since then. I'm really looking forward to fall.
Taking care of my granddaughter while mommy & daddy went to work.
Going to Galveston with hubby and lying on the beach all day long.
My boyfriend and I bought our first house and got a kitty!

Celebrating our anniversary in June by going to the Amana Colonies and enjoying each others company. I love spending time with SO. He's my best friend.
It will probably be the 'staff meeting' we are having on Friday. The 'staff meeting' will be taking place in one of my co-worker's pool! Food and drinks will be there also of course!
We just bought a house this week - our first house!
DEFINITELY the most stressful, but also the most fun thing we've done all summer.
